Flooring Installation

LVP, tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet

We install and replace flooring across Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Los Lunas, and Bernalillo, New Mexico — luxury vinyl plank, tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, including the subfloor prep most quotes leave out.

Most flooring failures are subfloor failures. Before we price material, we check the slab or subfloor for flatness, moisture, and soft spots. Floor leveling and subfloor repair are quoted as their own lines so you can see what the substrate actually needs.

Luxury vinyl plank is the workhorse in New Mexico homes right now — it takes dry heat, sun, pets, and spills better than laminate, and it installs over most existing substrates. Tile stays the right call for wet areas and high-traffic entries. Hardwood is worth it where you want it to last decades and are willing to maintain it.

We remove and reinstall baseboard rather than caulking a gap against it, haul away the old flooring and carpet, and set transitions and thresholds so doors still swing and rooms meet cleanly.

Common Questions

Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes. LVP can go over sound, flat tile or vinyl. It cannot go over anything that flexes, holds moisture, or is badly out of level. We check before we quote and tell you which you have.
What does floor leveling cost?
It depends on how far out the slab is and how much area needs it. It is priced by the bag of leveler plus labor, shown as its own line rather than hidden in the flooring rate.
Is LVP or tile better for a New Mexico home?
LVP for living areas, bedrooms, and hallways — warmer underfoot, quieter, and far more forgiving on a slab. Tile for bathrooms, laundry, mudrooms, and entries where water and grit show up daily.
Do you move furniture?
We can, and it is quoted as a line item. Appliances, pianos, safes, and anything fragile are worth calling out up front so the schedule accounts for them.
