Stucco is the dominant exterior here, and most stucco problems are water problems. Cracks at corners, failed sealant at penetrations, and damaged parapet caps let water behind the system where it does real damage. We chase the source before we patch the symptom.
Where siding is the right answer, we install and replace it with proper weather-resistive barrier, flashing, and trim details. Siding installed without correct flashing at windows and transitions will fail no matter how good the product is.
Exterior remodels are also where curb appeal gets made: new entry door, fresh trim, repaired fascia, clean lines at the roofline. We sequence these so painting happens after repair, not before.

- Are stucco cracks serious?
- Hairline cracks in the finish coat are common and cosmetic. Cracks that step diagonally from window corners, open wider than a credit card, or show staining below them mean water is getting in and need attention.
- Can you match existing stucco finish?
- We match texture and color as closely as the existing wall allows. Weathered stucco never matches new perfectly in one patch; on visible elevations, coating the full wall gives the clean result.
- Do you do full re-stucco?
- Yes — including our dedicated re-stucco service, with the existing system assessed before we quote a full replacement versus a repair-and-recoat.
- Is siding or stucco better in New Mexico?
- Stucco suits the climate and the architecture and is what most homes already have. Siding makes sense for specific styles and accents. Either works when the water details underneath are right.
